Absolutely amazing DIY candied pecans! Trust me, you won’t be able to stop at 1, 10 or 20!

These Cinnamon Candied Pecans are crunchy, sweet, salty and soooo easy to make! They’ve been pinned for a while but this week I finally made them. Too bad for me, they were gone in a flash. Now I’m left wishing I had a 10# bag of pecans so I could make them over and over again.

Eat them alone as a snack (by the handful if you wish), throw them in your morning oatmeal, stir them into a cup of yogurt, add them to a healthy salad, or sprinkle some atop an  ice cream sundae. They taste great whenever or wherever. Go ahead, be bad. They are totally worth it!

What You Need:

1 lb pecan halves
1 large egg white
1 Tbsp water
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt

How To Make:

{Preheat oven to 250 degrees.}

{Grease baking sheet or line with parchment paper.}

1.  Whisk egg white, water and vanilla until frothy.

2.  In a separate small mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, cinnamon and salt.

3.  Add pecans to egg white mixture and toss until evenly coated.

4.  Pour sugar mixture over pecans and toss – toss well.

5.  Pour coated pecans onto prepared baking sheet and spread the pecans into an even layer.

6.  Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

7.  Allow them to cool. They will get nice and crunchy as they cool.

8.  Remove from pan and store in an airtight container.

9.  Gobble them up. (It will be hard…ut remember to share!)

Thank you to Cooking Classy for sharing this awesome recipe. These are definitely one of my go-to recipes for “Gifts To Make” next Christmas.
